The blood is the life of the animal. "For the life of the creature is in the blood." (Leviticus 17:11) The blood should not be present in the meat you are eating. "But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat." (Deuteronomy 12:33)

When you eat the blood you are taking on the characteristics of that animal. In the scriptures they do not eat pork. Pigs are very lazy. They do not have sweat glands. That makes it impossible for the toxins to be released. The animal that was most desired and acceptable was lamb. Sheep are humble. An article from Association for Psychological Science quoted Loughnan, S., Bastian, B., Haslam, N., (2014) The Psychology of Eating Animal, "The psychology of eating animals is worth studying in and of itself, but that it may also serve as a case study to elucidate the roles that emotions, cognitions, and personality traits play in our engagement with "everyday moral problems." What can you do to create a healthier you?
