"To have them celebrate annually the fourteenth and fifteenth day of the month of Adar." (Ester 9:21) The month of Adar is the twelfth month of the ecclesiastical year on the Hebrew calendar. It is considered a winter month to the Gregorian calendar. "The time when the Jews got relief from their enemies...a month when their sorrow was turned to joy...a day of celebration...To observe the days as days of feasting, joy and giving presents of food to one another and gifts to the poor." (Ester 9:22)
Christmas in the Hebrew culture is not celebrated as a holy holiday. It is however, recognized as a time to embrace family and give thanks for not being defeated by the enemy. Although you have been conditioned in pagan ritual would you be willing to question? Research? Discover truth? The answers are in the scriptures. How far are you willing to go to seek understanding?
