Blameless and Righteousness

The path to the called is not far from you. We see in verse 4 of chapter 22 in 2 Samuel which states, " I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise and I was saved from my enemies." When we are in the midst of change we will see three ways. The Lord will carry us (ref. Isaiah 46:6), we run (ref. 1 Kings 19:3) or we do nothing. Living in righteousness cannot hold us back (Psalm 27:14). We cannot just sit and do nothing waiting to die. Instead we rise up and flee for protection from our enemies. In 2 Samuel 22:23-25, David speaks with assurance. We are living a righteous life not blameless of sin but sin is far from us. How do you seek refuge in the days to come? David says in verse 22, "For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not turned from my God to wickedness." Hold fast to the protection that is under righteousness. Turning our direction to God, the conqueror of every new turn in our lives.
